Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Complex Spine Surgery team, focusing on inpatient management and acute care call coverage. This role offers the opportunity to support a high-acuity surgical population within a dynamic academic medical environment.
The APP will play a critical role in the inpatient setting, managing pre- and post-operative spine surgery patients, responding to acute clinical needs, and ensuring continuity of care throughout hospitalization. Responsibilities include daily rounding, coordinating multidisciplinary care plans, addressing urgent patient issues, and providing call coverage for emergent spine-related concerns.
Working closely with spine surgeons, residents, nursing staff, and ancillary teams, the APP will help drive efficient, high-quality care while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and outcomes. This role is ideal for an APP who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing complex clinical scenarios, and values teamwork in delivering exceptional inpatient care.
