Opportunity Information

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Complex Spine Surgery team in a primarily ambulatory setting. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients with complex spinal conditions.

 

The APP will play a key role in supporting both pre- and post-operative care, helping guide patients throughout their surgical journey while contributing to excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
  • Current CA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Board Certification
  • Full schedule DEA
  • BLS Certification
  • Other Certification required for area of specialty

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, or surgical subspecialty care
  • Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-based, academic environment
