Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a Full time 1.0 FTE Physician’s Assistant, to join a collaborative group of clinicians who practice evidence-based medicine in a team-oriented environment.
In this role, the PA will divide their time between direct patient care and high-level care coordination to support an efficient team-based spine clinic. The PA will evaluate patients with spine and musculoskeletal conditions while also performing referral triage, imaging review, care coordination, and in-basket support for multiple clinicians within the multidisciplinary team. This position plays a key role in ensuring patients are directed to the appropriate provider, have complete and relevant imaging and documentation, and receive timely, coordinated care across the continuum of conservative, interventional, and surgical services. Clinically, the PA will initiate conservative treatments such as PT, NSAIDs, neuropathic meds, and order any needed work-up such as imaging, EMG/NCS.
