Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team in Fairfield, CA!

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and evaluations of patients with endocrine conditions (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders).

  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

  • Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.

  • Monitor and adjust medication regimens, including insulin and other hormonal therapies.

  • Provide follow-up care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services.

  • Coordinate care with primary care and specialty providers as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient education programs, and staff training.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred; Endocrinology experience is strongly preferred but not required.
