Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team in Fairfield, CA!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and evaluations of patients with endocrine conditions (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders).
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.
Monitor and adjust medication regimens, including insulin and other hormonal therapies.
Provide follow-up care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services.
Coordinate care with primary care and specialty providers as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient education programs, and staff training.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred; Endocrinology experience is strongly preferred but not required.
