Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare team in Sacramento, CA.

 

Sutter Medical Group is expanding its Behavioral Health services to include an outpatient department, we are recruiting for a PMHNP with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing medication management services, identifying concerns, and recommending supportive treatment approaches as well as supporting the psychologist with therapeutic support. Experienced with providing care to the adult and or child and adolescent age population and the desire to collaborate effectively with colleagues in an interest of promoting a strong team culture and the mission of the Medical Group. The PMHNP will routinely provide behavioral health coverage to Sutter Health patients in an interdisciplinary team environment, providing psychiatric consultation, evaluations, and counseling in collaboration with the Psychiatrist.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in Behavioral Health
  • Experience in medication management and psychotherapy
